  • The Aiken Polo Club is one of the oldest and most historic polo clubs in the United States. The club held its first game on Whitney Field in 1882 and joined the United States Polo Association before the turn of the century.   • The Aiken Steeplechase Association is a semi-nonprofit organization that hosts two steeplechase racing events sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association each year, the Imperial Cup in March and the Holiday Cup in October. It is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors as well as community members and other supporters who strive to perpetuate the rich history of Steeplechasing in Aiken with the aid of the Aiken SERTOMA Club and other volunteers from our community.
